Recognizing and Responding to Stalking
Imagine that you don’t feel safe. Someone is following you, texting you and e-mailing you, you are afraid. More than 3.4 million Americans a year are victims of stalking- a dangerous crime that can happen to anyone. January is National Stalking Awareness Month. This year’s theme, “Stalking: Know It. Name It. Stop It,” calls our nation to stop this crime by learning more about it. The more you know about stalking, the more you can do to fight it. The Shelter Home of Caldwell County, in partnership with The National Stalking Resource Center, will be hosting a one day training on Friday, Jan. 27th from 9 am to 12 pm at the Caldwell County Library.
