The Shelter Home of Caldwell County is excited to work with Planet Green in support of our fundraising efforts. Raising funds by recycling old inkjet cartridges, cell phones, MP3 players and other small electronics is free, fun, easy and great for the environment. To help our organization in maximizing the money we can raise through the Planet Green Recycling program, we ask that you take a few minutes to understand the potential to raise serious funds.

On average every box of 20 recycled eWaste items sent to Planet Green generates $50 in fundraising for your organization. Collecting the minimum 20 items is easy! It is estimated that 2.5 million tons of eWaste ends up in our landfills every year. Consider the fact that you have many of these items sitting around your house collecting dust. If you add up the items you have with just a few others, neighbors, friends and family you will see how easy it is to collect enough items for one or more boxes in no time.
