The Shelter Home of Caldwell County (SHCC) provides emergency and support services for survivors/victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, rape, and sexual assault and their children.

If you or someone you know needs help, many organizations and professionals are available to provide counsel and support. The first steps are to see a doctor with any physical injuries and report a crime to law enforcement officers. SHCC provides victim service providers to help you navigate the system or find safe shelter.

For forty-five years, the Shelter Home of Caldwell County has been a haven for women and children who need safe shelter and services to begin their recovery from the trauma of family violence. Since opening our doors in 1978, we have provided services for over 10,000 victims from Caldwell County and the surrounding area.
