Sharon

Sharon Poarch is the Executive Director of the Shelter Home of Caldwell County. In this capacity, Sharon is responsible for managing the staff and facilities of the Shelter Home, as well as being a representative of the community. A native of Caldwell County, Sharon brings 30 years of distinguished service with local law enforcement to the Shelter Home, as well as a lifelong commitment to meeting the needs of domestic violence and sexual assault victims.

       Jan Nash is the Business Manager for the Shelter Home of Caldwell County.  Her duties include management of all financial    transactions, payroll, insurance, statistics and grant reporting, inventory and purchasing, and serves as assistant to the Executive  Director.

Lily Moody is the Domestic Violence Program Manager of the Shelter Home of Caldwell County. As Program Manager, Lily is the primary  individual responsible for meeting the needs and providing assistance to the residents staying at the Shelter Home or in our transitional  apartments.  Lily also conducts both individual and group counseling, domestic violence assessments, TANF assessments, and mental health referrals.

    Hope Bumgarner is the Community Outreach Coordinator of the Shelter Home of Caldwell County. Hope trains and organizes our volunteer assistance from the community, as well as being in charge of donated items. If you’re interested in volunteering for the Shelter Home, or in making a donation, Hope  is the person to talk to.

Lisa Triplett is the Court Advocate of the Shelter Home of Caldwell County.  Lisa provides free assistance, advice, and accompaniment to court for clients who are victims of domestic violence. She is actually in the courtroom during the case providing support and acting as an advocate to courthouse personnel. Lisa also helps clients prepare court-related
paperwork and provides referrals to other legal assistance and services.

Kim Watson is the Rape and Sexual Assault Coordinator for the Shelter Home of Caldwell County. Kim’s job involves a lot of outreach, and she conducts numerous educational, awareness, and prevention programs at local schools and civic organizations.
Kim also serves as the primary contact for victims of sexual assault, providing assistance, counseling, and referrals.

Shannon West is the Child Advocate for the Shelter Home of Caldwell County. Her duties include, doing Individual child intakes and  assessments.   She also provides parenting Support Groups and support groups for children exposed to domestic violence. Barbara Price is the  Safety Program Manger.  Her Duties include keeping the shelter within fire code regulations; Keeping the house stocked with needed items and various duties.
