Renovation and Expansion

Our Renovation and Expansion project for the Shelter Home is underway.  The process at this point is paper, plans and preparation!  We will begin moving dirt by late May!  We are excited as we move forward with this project to grow our Mission  to provide more services to individuals who are fleeing the violence and abuse in their lives and that of their children.

We are $130,000 away from fully meeting our match requirements for the $1,200,000 project budget.  If you, your business, your church, your civic group or your foundation has a heart for our mission, please contact our Executive Director, Sharon Poarch, at (828) 758-0888 or at director@shelterhomecc.org, and become a part of this project and our mission of service to the victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse in our area.
